Most gay residents of the Los Angeles metropolitan area also visit Gay West Hollywood which is the hub of LA gay activity. Take a cab, or park only once, then walk along Santa Monica Blvd. to visit all of the bars and clubs without every having to move your car. West Hollywood attracts thousands of visitors each night and is by far the largest gay scene in Los Angeles. The entire gay strip and many of the gay bars and clubs have been recently remodeled making this area the nicest gay entertainment district in the world.
West Hollywood has an extremely vibrant club scene, with gay clubs operating 7 nights a week. Two of the largest gay venues are The Abbey at 16,000 square feet and The Factory at 15,000 square feet. There are 69 restaurants, 26 gay shops, and go go dancers every night of the week. It's a must see for every gay and lesbian.
